We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. 1 John 4:16

‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus. ❤️ . . . . I’ve been experiencing God so much since I moved and I couldn’t be more grateful. My praying has been doubled and so has His grace in answering. 😌 #blessed #loved #childofgod #favor #wonderfullife #experienceJesus #life #rested

In Christ’s death we are given so much. Christ’s death has removed our sins and gives us direct access to the father. Upon hearing the news of an empty tomb, John and Peter ran to see for themselves while the other disciples, gripped with fear, stayed back and talked about it. John and Peter did not know what they would find, but they knew Jesus was in it. They knew answers could only come through Jesus. They knew they had to have this experience. We are a fickle generation, so reliant on here say. We get our facts from so many different outlets. But rarely do we go straight to the source- God. Jesus did not die on that cross, bear the weight of our sin, so we could sit around and talk. So we could sit in churches, youth groups, Christian clubs and bible studies and talk. No! He died so we would have access to the father, so we could experience his power and glory directly and see for ourselves. The disciples stayed back and reasoned amongst themselves about what they heard. They concluded it to be nonsense. They were gripped with fear (the enemy will use fear to put a wedge between you and the father). The enemy does not want you to see for yourself. There is no fear in God- No! Christ conquered it all on the cross. He did not die so you could be fearful of the truth but so you could approach God with confidence. When we live in fear and doubt we don’t chase after the things of God; we don’t chase after the truth. We can’t experience destiny. We rely on our own understanding and miss out. You see John and Peter ran full speed to see for themselves and experienced something the others missed by sitting back and talking. Their experiences became their testimony and shaped their faith and their ministry . We have a choice: go and see for yourself, or sit at home. Experience God, or miss out. Embrace the full access you have to God because of the cross, or ignore it. @legacysc242 @churchtwo42 @legacymsc242 #seeforyourself #calltoaction #experiencejesus #freedominthecross
