Semester break: Experiment 2.5 Poetics of a space
Dominant in stance, mammoth in size, I enter its grounds like an ant on an elephant, But its skin was transparent, I could see how it functioned, The circulation of escalators, The flow of people, The placement of furnishings, Its habitat reciprocated, The circulation of fountains, The flow of people The placement of trees, A harmonious relationship settled within the city.
Whilst in Australia I visited Darling Harbour in Sydney for dinner when I came across this huge building that was the international convention and entertainment centre. It immediately struck me due to its size, modern appearance and integration of technology. The Chinese garden and walkway by such a modern complex had been developed to synchronise the vibes of the huge building and they ended up reflecting each other really nicely.
