Experiment 8 - A fail
I started making a bigger studio space to possibly add others work or more different versions of my tent, I could also collaborate with other students/peers. That was until my cat Zeus decided to pee on it! This is what I tried to experiment in terms of changing the form around before it was destroyed by cat godzilla. The space was times four the space of what I created before and I’m running low on ink! What a disaster, a funny one though.
I thought about instead of going for a traditional type of tent form, could I hang my modrock piece from the ceiling so it be the roof of a shelter? The sides would be blankets, or bits of material as in the refugee camp they always used whatever they could find, just taping bits together. I thought I could put together bits of materials, cardboard boxes? Newspapers taped together? I need to experiment on this further. I still have newspaper available so I could try taping this together.
In this photo, I put a back piece that would be another modrock section, surrounding the inside with photos/memories of the camp.
