Goddamn - Tyga / Chihiro Ueno choreography /中務裕太 GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE feat.EXPG Lab
LDH’s EXPG Lab have formally introduced performer Obonia Raara. She is one of the 15 female trainees under the studio and despite LDH being notoriously picky with their female selections, with LDH aiming to debut two new domestic girls groups this year, there’s a chance she could debut in 2021-2022.
As unlikely as it is, I want LDH to send a few of their female trainees on MNET’s new show “Girls Planet 999″. It’s a waste of their talent to not take advantage of this opportunity & we all know LDH won’t be doing anything with them regardless.
For those who are unfamiliar with the system, LDH has a dance and vocal school called EXPG Studio. Anyone can sign up and attend (for a fee of course) and learn these skills or improve on their innate abilities; idols from JO1 and Twice have attended. From that school, those who stand out and shine the best are drafted into EXPG Lab which works as an unofficial trainee system for LDH. EXPG Lab tends to form groups composed of these trainees to further their skills and professionalism by having them perform as backup dancer on live stages, concerts, and street performances. They’re also given more intense training and held to higher standards. Majority of the EXPG Lab kids are rarely given a promotion into a real group though (such as Rio from NiziU, who was one of the most popular kids in the lab). Rino Fujii has been an EXPG for nearly 5 years after being a E-girls Bunny and never getting promoted before they disbanded the trainee system, then in the EXPG group PATTY which has now disbanded, and is still sitting there, wishing and hoping. Kubo Reina, the best vocalist EXPG has had for the last 2 years (and was originally a dancer!), debuted in a girl group prior to joining EXPG but it never took off as a unit (she was in it for 5 years). She made a splash with her auditions in “LDH Girl Auditions 2018″ and was added into their lab despite not winning. Natsumi, Ran, and Sara, who were all apart of KIZZY and with LDH for years, deserve more than a Youtube shout out at this point. Unfortunately, only Natsumi could enter this competition due to the age restrictions. Raara Ogbonnia is a new EXPG Lab student but was in the school for 4-5 years and would be at a bigger disadvantage to debut compared to her peers who have seniority in experience.
Kubo Reina: One of the 11 Girls to make it out of LDH'S Girls Auditions last year and a possible member for the final lineup.
