Today we learned how to cook an organic Balinese meal. The children started in the garden picking all of the ingredients fresh from the garden. Beans, Papaya, Lemon grass, Ginger, Turmeric, Chillies, Bay leaves, Garlic etc. Next they brought the ingredients to the kitchen, washed them and begin prepping them. After several hours of chopping and grinding the ingredients were ready to cook. The meal was then cooked on wood fired outdoor stoves and ovens.
