Tuesday 9th May 2017. 19:00 Osaka Japan.
We drove back to Nomu’s house in Osaka, dropped my suitcase off and got the train to Namba. We went to our favourite omu rice restaurant for our last meal. I was still pretty full from my lunch earlier haha but it was still as delicious as always!

Sunday 29th January 2017. 20:30 Osaka Japan.
We then walked around Tsurhashi. Early morning this place is supposed to be super busy with all the markets open selling anything and everything. Will definitely be coming back here for that! Nomu took us to his favourite bar were we sat drinking and talking for a few hours. Such a nice bar, super chilled and casual and played the most relaxing music. And their gin + tonic was oishii!

I got the train back into Osaka on Sunday late afternoon. Met up with Nomu and then met Ellen and Paul. Nomu took us to his favourite Okonomiyaki restaurant in Tsuruhashi. He had talked about taking us here for a while and we finally all got around to going! Don’t get me wrong the Okonomiyaki was delicious, Nomu claiming it to be the best in Osaka, but the restaurant by my house could arguably be a lot nicer! I said I would take the guys one time and we can compare lol.
We had squid and pork with yaki soba for our first dish and then a second one with cheese on top which was amazing! I would definitely come back here though. The lady who worked here was so lovely. I asked if I could take a picture of her in Japanese, probably the only sentence I can strong together without struggling and she then told me my Japanese was great haha. She was a don!
Sunday 12th February 2017. 14:30 Osaka Japan.
We jumped on the train from Osaka’s main station to Osakako, the station nearest to the Aquarium. We got some Takoyaki along the way just outside of Osakako station and it was so delicious. I think it’s quite a famous Takoyaki place as it’s always busy.
“Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan (海遊館, Kaiyūkan) is located in the Tempozan Harbour Village of Osaka's bay area, and is one of Japan's most spectacular aquariums. It introduces various forms of life inhabiting the Pacific Rim in a well organised and impressive way.
Marine life is displayed in 15 tanks, each representing a specific region of the Pacific Rim. The central tank, representing the Pacific Ocean, is nine meters deep and home to a whale shark, the aquarium's main attraction.
Visitors start their tour of the aquarium on the 8th floor and slowly spiral down floor by floor around the central tank. Some of the tanks stretch over several floors, making it possible to observe the animals from different depths and perspectives.”

After our late lunch we drove through Osaka and picked up Ellen and Paul from their gaff. We made a last minute decision to drive to Kobe, I was so so excited!!! We definitely picked the wrong time to drive there as the traffic was a nightmare but the journey was a vibe. The express ways here are all toll roads and quite expensive so we took the normal road underneath the express way hence all the traffic.
