staying one night in gallup, new mexico as we work our way towards arizona. our RV park is in a good location and has cute decorations. recommend staying here if you are passing through.
last part of the trip included a stay near grants at the bluewater state park. the temps dropped so we had to do movie time in the camper. also, never pass up the opportunity to enjoy bacon & pie. :)
we stayed at the cosmic campground and i was able to get some good shots using the iphone. the campground is a dark sky sanctuary and some people show up with huge telescopes. i’m guessing the big one shown in one of my photos cost more than my RV!
hiking the glenwood catwalk. short, beautiful hike. archie approves.
hiking the dragonfly trail near silver city. great food at the jalisco cafe. silver city has a nice downtown area with art galleries and restaurants.
the rockhound state park near deming is unbelievable. we had the best spot in the campground with amazing views. we did a quick stop at the city of rocks on the way up to silver city.
visiting cloudcroft and white sands national park.
