“Can I receive an update if anything changes?”
Pleiades is here to serve and will gladly assist the Muraji in whatever task they choose.
“Please stop sassing me, computer.”
A rather strange situation to stumble upon, one within the case of death and its close encounters. No matter who, no matter when, no matter where, the situation was always one of great stress.
Fortunately, such things were an effort of living, all on their own, and living didn’t need to be a journey of solitude. As such, the scene seemed to reveal itself as the senses of a certain visitor started to regain their power. The sounds of two voices slowly coming into clarity, the dull glow of light shining from beyond the barrier of eyelids bringing a rather cooling warmth, the sense of smell swelling into existence as a nearly piercing filtered cleanliness left the air sharp and crisp. All of these coupled with a lingering numbness that left one practically floating among their body...stationary....and until their eyes opened properly, their location within a bed could be highly ambiguous.
Along with waking sensations, the notion that the one in the bed was slowly regaining their senses couldn’t go unnoticed. Surely as things had come to fruition, the closer voice spoke out once more, though this time it wasn’t directed towards the other.
“Are...are you able to hear me? If you please, don’t try to move just yet.”
As everything around seemed to coagulate into an identifiable existence, the only real sight right off the bat would happen to be a...chrome-looking ceiling directly overhead, coupled with the face of that Jaggard from so long ago looming above, staring down at the Yordle that happened to be set upon the soft surface underneath.
“You...are not quite in one piece just yet, so I would hope that you could merely stay still for the time being. Not that your body might have much of a choice here..”
Pleiades has been counting stars, Muraji. All accounted for.
“Not right-- ...Thank you, ship. You’ve been most helpful.”
