Had to clear some stinging nettles and brambles for a reptile survey in Kingston next to the Hogsmill river. Used my South American machete that I haven't used in years. Just as effective and sharp after sitting in the garden shed for years! And my technique still good (swing in a wide arc from side to side - the King of the swingers).
