What should I know about celebration and history in the US of A? I mean I know some history, but just the noteworthy shit. Like all the war crimes and colonialism and bad shit. I guess i don't have a very good fuckin view on this country.

Well the bad stuff is all important to know. Most people aren't taught that in history class.
Usually in history class US history is broken down into eras: pre-English colonization, the English time, the revolution along with the times shortly before and after, westward expansion, the civil war, reconstruction, the gilded age, WW1, 1920s, Great Depression, WW2, and then the cold war.
For celebrations, we have a lot of days to celebrate veterans. Most of those days are just days you get off of work, not many do much to celebrate it other than maybe a cookout. We have a few holidays like that. Oh and Thanksgiving is a mainly American holiday that's very important.
