Classes start tomorrow. I'm really excited, too. I honestly love learning. Knowing stuff is the bee's knees, so to speak. My first class is music appreciation and if there's anything I'm good at, it's appreciating music. I'm completely okay with my current schedule, but I'm really looking forward to next semester when I can take classes in fields that interest me. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to be a biology major or go for some sort of creative writing thing. I don't know.
College is... okay. I'm really happy to be here and I feel so lucky to have this opportunity. I already adore UNT and this campus is actually just the cutest, albeit hilly, thing. I'm still very nervous about meeting new people. I love meeting people and making friends but it makes me so scared, honestly. I have such a hard time initiating conversation or pursuing friendships beyond the initial "hello"s. But I'm trying to do better. Gosh, it all gets so overwhelming.
I can finally get my septum pierced! Well, actually, I guess I can't do that until February. I am still 17 and my parents would never grant me permission to put holes in my jeans, let alone my face. (Although, nearly all of my jeans have giant holes so I guess I'm just a rebel.) I don't know where I'll go to get that done, but I can't wait. In my free time, I like to look at septum jewelry online. It's so pretty! (◡‿◡✿)
This post has really escaped me. I don't know if there was any sort of formal point I was trying to get to. I guess I was just talking (typing, really).
