A wolf came to me in the night He seemed bad But was looking for good He approached I wasn’t scared Intrigued Unalarmed He didn’t bark or growl Just sniffed around He postured to show he was strong A little impressed, but not enough This wolf roams with a pack But cherishes his solitude Dark and strong A gentle giant But not to be mistaken for soft The wolf came to me again And again And again And again I found him endearing Mysterious Who is this wolf? How does he want me?
