“I’d like to think I’m pretty good, Bakugou.” 

That depends on Bakugou’s definition of ‘good’. Denki can make partially edible -- in his mind anyway -- things. Though, to most people, it was definitely not something that should be considered edible.

Ochako felt not embarrassed for having Bakugo come to her aid when she was supposed to deal with this villain without any problem - her embarrassment was mainly because despite having taken care of the villain, she had sprained her ankle and could barely stand! "I had everything under control. You didn't have to come and get me," she said a little defiantly before leaning against the tree.

But even trying to convince Bakugo that nothing was wrong didn't make him back off and she was eventually forced to accept his help and she awkwardly got onto his back and allowed him to carry her back to the camp.

It was there that he finally noticed her problem and she turned to look away. "It was just a small mistake. I think I tripped," she muttered, feeling her face turning crimson. Then, her brows furrowed. "But don't tell anyone about this! I managed to defeat the villain and that's all that matters!" she said before trying to move off him...and flinching as soon as her foot touched the ground.

The moment Izuku had heard Kacchan say those words to him following the provisional hero license exam -- every emotion imaginable was running through his body. He had so many questions varying from why to what that he wanted to ask in that very moment. But given that they were around their class the green haired teen actually resisted the urge to blurt them out. 

      He figured he’d get his answers later -- 

                            when they actually got to talk alone. 

However, what Izuku didn’t expect was that he was going to witness his childhood friend breaking down emotional ... and even watching Kacchan blame himself for All Might’s retirement. To Izuku -- Kacchan was always so strong. He never seemed to let anything get him down -- or at least, he never showed it to anyone if it did. 

But to stand across from the blond in the middle of Ground Beta -- watching him break down in tears and blaming their childhood hero’s retirement on himself getting kidnapped by the villains. It was eye opening to Izuku -- and yet, that still didn’t make him lose that admiration for Kacchan. It had actually made the green haired teen happy that Kacchan was willing to show him this side of the other -- either on purpose or accident -- it didn’t matter.

Kacchan was actually letting Izuku see him at his weakest and that only made his childhood friend stronger in his eyes.

While the action in itself was surprising, the way he kissed her wasn't - it was what she expected from Bakugo - angry, wild, and violent! And it left her breathless!

The heroine clutched onto his shoulders tightly as he almost hungrily devoured her mouth and she uttered a moan when she felt teeth biting hard onto her bottom lip. Then, there was the sensation of something warm on the surface and once he parted from her, she first worked to get some air into her lungs.

Once that was done and she didn't feel breathless anymore, her tongue dragged across her lip to taste something metallic. And to make sure, she gently swiped a thumb over the wound and her eyes widened when seeing blood on the tip.

She turned to look back at him...only to see him lean in for another kiss!

   If Shoto was honest he wouldn’t have known where to pinpoint when they became close enough to become friends. All he knew was that they were friends that enjoyed being together. He was able to hang out with the other even if the male would shout at him they weren’t he never chases him off. His bark was much worst then his bite so they can have moments like this.

   “Hey Bakugou, what’s your favorite food?” he whispers his head laying on the table as he looks up at his friend. He had invited himself over but this time the other wasn’t barking at him annoyed. There was no studying, no stress, nothing to be seen at all. So he just wanted to learn more about the other in this moment of softness.

   When the other isn’t trying so hard to prove something nor is stressed by the work of trying to play catch up. Even though Shoto is sure the other is far above the leagues of everyone else when it comes to smarts. “I mean you likely know what mine is because I eat it a lot, but your diet is more varied so I wondered if you have a favorite.”
