I can't sleep and it's really frustrating. I keep questioning making my major Theatre. I know that theatre is the only thing that kept me happy and sane in high school. But does what I want to do outside of Carthage warrant a theatre major? Is it smart for me to major in theatre, while all I want to do is build. I feel more like a man and more right with this world when I'm building shit in the scene shop. I want to build sets, take a design off a blue print and make it reality. But I have no experience in building things. My dad's in business and is handy for household problems. I never learned how to build, or saw, or drill. I was useless when I started at ND and an argument could be made to say that I'm still pretty useless. I don't have an easy grasp for all of this shit, but I do know that I love working with my hands, and I feel accomplished when something finished and all I want is to work on something more What the hell
