The plan was to go back to the Fort to report some of the latest news, but she just... Didn’t want to. She wanted to avoid running into her husband as much as possible, but getting away from the Legion entirely was proving... Difficult. 

She didn’t have the power to take them down on her own, and now that he knew she was here, if she stayed away for too long, he’d just end up coming to find her. Again. It was easier to just report until she found a proper way out of the whole situation. ❝I think I can push it off for two more days, what do you think?❞

He’d heard of the Wanderer’s arrival through the latest batch of Knights; children who had been too young to have fought side-by-side with the woman against the Enclave, but were old enough to remember her arrival and the commotion it had caused in their ranks. He had taken the news in stride, moving about his day as if there was no cause for his perturbed thought. 

Seeing her, however, was an entirely different matter. 

“Antonia.” Justain provides only a curt nod in her direction as he passes her in the hall, moving towards the gathering room with a newfound scowl. They’d been heading in the same direction, and he could only hope that she had some destination other than his own.
