i just i wanna just say...

i spent a long time, and by that i mean a couple of years, in a slow downward spiral of self-loathing. i convinced myself that i was worthless and that everyone hated me. i lost myself. i lost my spark. i lost a lot of my friends because i became reclusive, and without the socialization i sincerely crave, i was left alone with my thoughts and i really hit the bottom. the very bottom. my anxiety was so bad, i started hallucinating and had to be put on antipsychotics. i was heavily medicated most of the time. my flight or fight turned into a fiery blaze of glory. i was almost arrested. i was inches away from giving up entirely. in fact, a couple of times, i did.

but one day, as if from a nightmare, i woke up. i missed me. i missed who i was. so, i went out to find myself again.

the struggle will persist forever because my anxiety, ocd, depression, and all of that will never go away, but at the same time, to anyone who’s struggling, too? keep going.

My favorite is how calm you are as you type these responses out, and then how after you’re done posting you start verbally ranting. I don’t think I’ve seen you genuinely upset yet, as opposed to very frustrated.
