☤- One of our muse’s is hurt.

Tsurugi felt distinctly dizzy when she heard Cloud grunt in pain, felt him lurch to the side, his breath catching. She felt his hands clench tighter on the hilts. He was wielding two of her blades against the beasts, but her central blade still rested in the holster on his back; as one of the monsters took advantage of his momentary loss of balance and knocked him over, she flared with power, giving off a blinding light. The monsters screeched and hissed at the sudden brilliance searing their retina.

Cloud was running late; the Valentine holiday had him working day and night, and the Cetra’s home near Cosmo Canyon would his furthest - and last - stop.

He rushed to the door, nearly breathless, and gave a sigh of relief as he glanced at the horizon.  The sun was just setting, the day wasn’t over just yet.

As Eden came to the door, Cloud smiled, handing her the small wrapped package.  ”I’m sorry I’m so late.  Or…just in time, depending upon how you look at it.”

Inside, laid out on black velvet, was a fire opal pendant, crafted from gems mined from Cactuar Island.  The setting was serpentine, done in gold.

"I hope you like it, Eden,"  Cloud said quietly. "Happy Valentine’s day."

The Cetra held a cautious gaze as she slowly opened the door and peered out. Her eyes softened as she saw the famiiar courier and she pushed the wooden door wider. "Hey," she replied before shrugging. "Don't worry about it." Her face lit up at the sight of the small velvet bundle, she accepted it readily and revealed what was inside. A gasp left her, her jaw dropped at the sight of the dazzling opal resting in the serpentine design of gold. 

"Oh gods, Cloud." She held it up to the light of the setting sun, the impressive gem shone like wildfire when it captured the sunlight. Her heart felt warmed as she placed the necklace around her neck. Her fingers gently ran over the gold once more before she wrapped the blond in a careful, yet heartfelt hug. "Thank you so much. It's beautiful."

RP Thread Tracker

So I've been meaning to make this post for over a week now! I've been trying out a thread tracker that gives me an overview on all the threads I'm in and helps me keep tabs on the drafts I owe. (I'm incredibly scatterbrained. This is a godsend. If you're reading this I am not insinuating you need this too. XD)

IN SUMMARY:

1. It gives links to every last post of the threads you track.

2. It gives a summary of the number of threads you have. (Good for seeing if you have the bandwidth for more threads!)

3. And it sorts all your threads according to whether or not it's your turn.

WHAT IT DOESN'T DO:

So far, there's no option to display your entire thread with a person on one page, which would be great to refer to down the road, especially after all the cutting that gets done. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

Nonetheless, this has been an awesome tool to use and I highly recommend it to any RPer who needs keeping tabs on their threads.

HOW IT WORKS:

1. After you've set up your blog, click Track New Thread right on the top bar.

2. Enter a Title (useful to place the name of the RPer your thread is with.)

3. Drop in the Post ID of any one of your own posts from the thread. This would be the 12 digit unique number assigned to each of your posts. Voila!

THE TRACKER DOES NOT ASK FOR YOUR TUMBLR ACCOUNT INFORMATION. YOU MAKE A FRESH ACCOUNT WITH THE WEBSITE AND IT USES INFORMATION THAT IS ALREADY OPEN ON YOUR BLOG TO PUT YOUR LISTS TOGETHER.

"What would you do if I told you I could bring her back?" The disembodied voice queried. There was a teasing lilt to it that hinted either at possibly danger, insanity, or both.

Where he stood in the darkness of the alley, the leather-clad figure was shrouded by the lack of proper lighting. The people of Edge were preoccupied with surviving - rebuilding their city could wait.

Kadaj silently observed Cloud's silhouette, outlined by the street lights of the main road he stood on the threshold of. He wondered how his brother would respond.
