My next piece depicting another Lesser Bibly (Macrotis leucura), also known as the Yallara, the Lesser Rabbit-eared Bandicoot, and the White-tailed Rabbit-eared Bandicoot
Another sexually diamporphic species with males generally being larger as well as the females having a pouch. With a habitat of woodlands, Savannah, shrub grasslands, and sparsely vegitated deserts, the Lesser bibly likely went extinct due to predation from invasive species such as domesticated cats and Foxes.
Despite their size and cuteness, Lesser Bibly's were known to be quite feisty, as stated by the scientists that previously studied them before they went extinct between the 1930's and the 1960's.
