#extra dynamics

Hi, I'm really new to Omegaverse! I heard somewhere that apart from Alpha, Betas and Omegas, there's such a thing as Sigmas? I don't really know if I can trust the internet source I got it from :(

I mean is not really a matter of trusting the info or not. Because Omegaverse is such an open concept in fantasy you can just invent whatever crap comes to mind and it'd be totally game.

There are people that like to incorporate more than 3 dynamics in their verse. I'm not one of these people. I think it's unnecessary, because as I see it the three dynamics already offer flexibility enough to encompass pretty much any type of person with any type of personality. I find it obsolete.

But you know a small sect of people in the fandom don't, and they like to incorporate these extra dynamics. There's nothing wrong with that, I just particularly don't do it. Though I did acknowledged it as part of the genre on a very old post abt the subgenres inside A/B/O, right here.

Their definition is also a bit different depending to whom you ask. So even if you ask me or someone else what these extra dynamics would be, people would have different answers.

There used to be a blog here on tumblr abt just these extra dynamics, but I don't think the chick that ran it is active anymore. So if I learn abt any blogs that like these extra dynamics and talks abt it, I'll either edit this answer or reblog it again with the info.

Hi! I have read about deltas and gammas and I was wondering if you could give me a definition? Like I know they are part in some omegaverse but I'm not sure how they act ...? Thank you!

Well then that makes two of us. I don't do other dynamics outside of the A/B/O trinity, I find them kind of dumb and unnecessary and from what I've seen there's not a lot of consistency on how they're defined either. To me they're just convoluted ways of showcasing people with certain personality traits that'd fit just fine within the three dynamics anyway. But I may be wrong idk.

The closest I ever got on extra dynamics was my whole HGPT community thing that never really took off. There's Etas, Gammas, Phis and Thetas there, so if you're curious you can check it out here.

I know that if you go through @mega-omegaverse's blog you can find these, I know the two of them used to have mentions and posts of other dynamics, but they're the only people I can think of right now, so if anyone knows of someone that is more familiarised with these extra dynamics or talks about them frequently in their blog, please @ them here. Sorry anon, can't help this time around.
