#extra shift

Accepted an extra shift at work tonight. Makes me feel heroic ;) Admittedly, I’m hoping to be the one sitting Nightingale at our special patient (she tries to get out of bed but can’t walk, so it’s to prevent her from falling and hurting herself) which hopefully should make the night easy enough.

Picking up a shift on this gloomy Saturday. Isis wasn’t on board, but since she doesn’t contribute financially to the household (freeloader), she doesn’t get a vote.

Wasnt supposed to work today, but took over somebodies shift because they had been scheduled like 50 something hours. So I worked 6am to 2pm. Getting up before 8 or 9 makes me feel like a zombie. When I got home I spent 5 hours napping until Alex got home at 7. After napping for so long it made me even more tired so now I'm kind of slap happy trying to stay awake.

When I'm asked to take on an extra shift, and once I get there they tell me I'm not needed.

Picked up a shift at work tonight! So happy cuz I’m not working all this week cuz of my trip to DC for my cousins wedding. Happy to pick up any shifts I can!
