Four stars. One of my book best friends recommended this one. At first I was hesitant to read this because after reading the blurb I already knew it that someone will die, (guess who lol) and those stories aren’t my thing. I’m not saying I’m sucker for those happy ever afters but I’m just tired of ill thingy books, if you know what I mean. Then, I just randomly picked this one because why not try, right? And I’m glad I did.

It actually reminds me of The Fault in Our Stars but this version is so much better (sorry not sorry). The characters are so much alive and did leave a mark in my heart. It was a story of hope, patience, love and friendship. The connection between Lane and Sadie is fascinating given the circumstances they met few years back. It left me thinking of what ifs and whys.
