The Paratrooper couldn’t help the involuntary shiver that sent goosebumps up his arms as Wade’s fingertips ghosted over the scar curving around his left wrist. He could see the question in the other’s eyes and he gave a soft smile. “Put my hand through a window, it was closed at the time.” He didn’t pull free, instead watching as the Medic inspected the silvery line of scar tissue. “That was one set of stitches, told ya I’d had some.” 

"Is that how they do it in New York? Windows on the west coast can open." He grinned a little absent-mindedly, still inspecting Skip's wrist.

The sheen of scar tissue fascinated Wade --probably to excess, but he was tired enough not to care-- and he traced the line gently again, fingertips mapping out where it had barely skirted veins and arteries. "Lucky guy," he murmured, eyes gleaming.

           keeping low to the ground , knees bent , frame crouched over to allow for extended movement without giving much of his position away. making his way through the men , stopping by each ; some requiring more attention than the rest. meagre words exchanged after such an attack. glances here & there , conveying meaning that words couldn’t do any justice.

           kneeling just outside of the recently promoted sergeant , ROE dug into his bag to pull out the sugar tablets he’d been passing out in addition to checking on those who needed it more than others. wounds of the body or the mind ; seemed he was fulfilling the extent of his job description today

           not that he minded none. it was his job. his way of serving , since the army took his rifle & replaced it with a medical bag.

Wade let his eyes follow the other soldier, lips curling in amusement despite his exhaustion. The excitement --even if it wasn't catching-- was at least a pleasant distraction, and he leaned closer to pet the little dog gently, shoulder brushing against Skip's. "Looks just like you Private, you must be proud," he managed to quip, fingers trembling a little less than before.

I’m gonna disappoint you and say I’ve never watched Supernatural :S. But I do LOVE WATCHING ANY ANIME – I’m a nerd like that. And legit, you’ll find me spending more than half of my money one my bike – upgrading it and getting new gear and shit. Plus I legit spend hours and hours cycling my ass off.
