They are more than just coaches, they have a permanent place as my family. I hope my Herbafam has an amazing time in St. Louis, and I wish that I was there with you guys! “At The Staircase” by  Zhang Tianyu

The two girls are a lady from a rich family and her maid. Despite their difference in status, they are still good friends, and they usually meet in the afternoon to read in the garden, which to them, is something that happens on each ordinary day. However, the cold handrail of the staircase forms a barrier, showing that the social class gap between them is hard to close, which is sad, but ordinary, too. Behind them, in the sky, two birds are playing freely, such freedom is not ordinary to the two girls, but it is something they truly desire.

“An Ordinary Day” by  Franky Laurentis

Afflicted by Toxic Shock Syndrome, she lost her limbs since she’s very young. However, she was fortunate enough to acquire some high-tech prosthetics which not only enabled her to live normally but also possess augmented strengths and abilities no humans can ever have. With her feet, which have been upgraded with advanced thrusters, she flies around frequently. The control of the prosthetic thrusters requires high concentration, and when concentration is lost, they convert back into normal leg prosthetics, causing her to hurtle down the sky often due to her absent-minded personality.

“A Computer System’s Daily Life” by Low Pui Mun

Everyone uses their computer to do many sorts of things, like watching videos, drawing digitally, editing documents, etc. But do you know who is the brain behind the scenes who helps us do so? What mostly everyone overlooks is the system who

makes animations move, texts and colours to appear in our screen. It translates  "computer language" also known as coding to understand what we want it to do for us. The system also becomes sick and tired like humans, when viruses attack or when the computer is running out of battery. Thus, this is the daily life of the busy computer system who altruistically helps us perform many actions.

The image depicts a very average schoolgirl in her home setting wearing clothes she is the most comfortable in. However, she does not realise that her life, even though average, is gifted with all kinds of modern wonder she has grown so accustomed to; from fantasy-like food (gummy bears) to homely comfort to technological gadgets. To her, these are all just part of her everyday life and she longs for something more interesting to happen in her life.
