Call me Ahab. I'm set on a mission to end white whales, so to speak. You know what whales are, right? They're the people who fund half of any given casino because they spend big. Most of them don't even know how much money they have.

Back in the Before, it used to be impossible to have that much money in one lifetime. You just couldn't do it. That was before one of them funded immortality. The select few could live forever and accumulate wealth. Unsurprisingly, pretty much all of the billionaires invested heavily in the research, and then the results.

Science cracked the mortality issue. It was never released to the public. Only ever given to those who could pay the highest ticket price to live forever. They claimed that the money would run out. They claimed that nature would find a new level. They claimed that the mind-numbingly rich would be good for the economy.

I pulled the best card in this set. I mean yeah…I have Electrumite but whatever man. I got some waifus here!

So we just got some cards revealed for the third booster pack of Vrains, Extreme Force, and I’m wondering what the actual heck is going on because we are getting Pendulums in this set. Pendulums are making a return apparently in the form of the Mythical Beast.

So what does this mean? Are Pendulums making a return in Vrains or is this just a random new archetype for the OCG/TCG in general (which is still confusing since they are trying to sell Link Monsters now). Honestly, I hope for the former because I would love to see Pendulums make a return in the anime, especially with the major rule change with them with their placement/how they work with the Extra Deck and Extra Monster Zone now (as in, no more summoning five monsters from the Extra Deck at once unless you got some extremely good link markers.) Plus I want to see how Pendulums would work in a Speed Duel. 

But what do you guys think? Do you think Pendulums are going to make a return or is this just wishful thinking on my behave? But if they are actually going to be used in the anime, does this mean that Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz are making a return as well? God, I hope so but again, probably wishful thinking.
