I've been scrolling through your blog and you mentioned you've been posting consistently on here for a bit over a year now, so I wanted to ask how has your experience been in the fandom so far? Were you expecting to be active for so long, or was it a surprise?
It’s been fine, pretty typical fandom stuff, fair share of being fun and intellectually stimulating and deeply fucking annoying, as is inherent. I’ve been playing this game for nearly 4 years, and I was very significantly into it for a few months before deciding to make this blog, because it became clear I wasn’t going anywhere and I needed to exercise my posting tendril in a free range enclosure (make a fandom sideblog so I didn’t clog my main). This is the typical pattern for me, I get into something and then it becomes my everything for at least half a year, into a year and beyond. My interest and passion waxes and wanes of course, but it’s terminal. So yeah, I more or less expected to be here this long, but it is pretty surprising that I’ve made as many posts and drawn as much art as I have. I just hit 400 artworks in my prsk procreate gallery, and nothing else has even hit 300…….
