Ahhhh okay, fair question. But here’s the thing: Would I marry Season One Duke? No, definitely not. (Not to mention he was married then, not that he acted like it, but tbh I feel like the writers made the decision to give him a wife at like. The last minute. Because him cheating on his wife doesn’t fit anything else with his character.) 

But Season Three Duke? The one who faithfully followed Audrey to the ends of the earth without asking for anything in return?

Season Four Duke? The one who maintained one of the healthiest relationships on the entire show for a whole season? 

Season Five Duke, who had poured out so much love and loyalty out that he was running on empty, but he still kept doing everything he could to help the people he loved, and broke at even the slightest hint of affection or kindness?
