Time and again I've heard people saying "life as Christian is very painful, and toilsome." I do believe there's pains, suffering, hard work as long as we live in this world. But for a child of God, God gives grace to keep going, strength to do more than we could've a possibly imagined, and power to give triumph over various trials. The pioneers of Christian faith had enormous pains, pressures, persecution from the society, and cultures at that time. Going through all these they never bragged about their pains and toilsome labour, rather found more words to speak of the power of the one whom they served. Saint Paul said "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Saint John said "Greater is the one that is in you than the one in the world." Saint Peter said, "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness." For they all went through struggles more than we could ever perceive, yet they were more than conquerors, greatly powerful than spirits and powers in this world, counted it all joy when they faced various trials of all kind, and in all these Christ in them gave them victory over opposing forces. Therefore smile, be joyful, and find delight to praise Jesus Christ Our God who leads us in triumphal procession.
