👫 (one or all)
Send a 👫and I’ll write four headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship
Glider Knight:
Glider has surreptitiously been added to the Kid List. They don’t really know him and he is a fresh, cautious entry, but he is there all the same. I’m not explaining the Kid List here, sorry. Another ask, perhaps.
Charly is perfectly fine with Glider’s distrust. They won’t do anything to try and melt it or win him over. Him being uncertain is important! Also it’d be suspicious to try and make him come around, wouldn’t it?
They like messing with him. I don’t know what they mean by this. I’m sorry, Glider. I’m so sorry.
They are actually really bothered that they don’t have a nickname for him yet. No, they won’t call him by name or title in the meantime, that’d be silly. When the time is right they will find a name. Hopefully not in the middle of the night. (Probably in the middle of the night.)
Avianna:
Avi is a grand friend and they love to swap stories and gossip. They’re a bit careful with which stories they tell her, b-but she doesn’t have to know that! Seeing her smile and hearing her laugh is very important.
If they can rope her into a goofy quest or adventure they will. Whether it’s to find the perfect rock or see how many people they can find wearing turquoise on that given day, it doesn’t matter. As far as the charlatan is concerned Avi spends waaay too much time at her desk, indoors, working, and worrying. It’s their personal mission to amend this. Now c’mon they found a funny little statue they have to show you!
Avi is also on the Kid List. Her kindness and position in the world has left them with a strong impression to protect her, even to their detriment. This is one reason they won’t tell her everything about themself. Another is that they are scared what would happen.
If/when they find out what’s between Grackle and Red Horns they will be glad for the two. Also relieved. People need to stick out for each other and well, you both need someone. Maybe ol’ Charly can wheel off someday a little less worried about the two.
Isaac:
Charly isn’t all that invested in Isaac, he’s not the best looking candidate for what they’re looking for and they’ve found some very wonderful allies already. However, they will continue to shadow him and join him for drinks because they know better. He’s someone to keep an eye on, even if right now it seems the only thing he’s building is a bar tab.
Just because they’re generally watching him doesn’t mean it has to be boring! They will probably joke and flirt with him until he proves dry and they either part ways or they make bank off him.
The charlatan is trying to carefully glean what information they can from Isaac while also getting him used to their presence, even possibly trusting them a small amount. This game isn’t new, yes it’s a game. Sorry, big guy. Well, I guess neither of us are all that sorry.
Terminating their relationship is inevitable, and Charly really hopes they can turn profit from it’s ending. What Charly doesn’t know is that they may end up carefully playing double agent for a bit. If they can convince the Icarus family and Black Knight it’s better if they stay in contact with the man.
