Spoopy Stories (Pt.2)

I would just like to say that this won’t only be about ghosts, but other encounters with odd things in life that simply have no explanation. The one below is nothing impressive, as I’m leaving the best ones ‘til last.

Seeing Blue

This issue has only occurred twice in my life so far, thank goodness. The first time was a split-second event where I had simply blinked, and until I blinked again, all I could see was blue. No other colours. It was like seeing the world through a monochrome filter, then putting a blue one on top of it.

  The next time was when I was 10, after having rubbed and irritated my eye very badly, of which despite my request not to my teacher told me I had to still hold my head under the chlorine-filled pool water. For the entire following week my left eye was teary and very painful, as all I could see from that eye was once again, blue. During that time I managed to teach myself how to keep that eye closed in order to reduce the annoyance to my eye. The doctor concluded it was some kind of infection, and gave me some medical eye drops that were, funnily enough, blue. It worked eventually, and after that my eyes just hurt to a normal extent (for me) but I could see a full array of colour.
