Trigger Idea #11: "Eyes Up"
Another day, another trigger idea. This one focuses on one of my favorite tropes in hypnosis, so let's take a look.
This trigger is exactly what it says on the tin. When you hear the words "eyes up", your eyes will immediately focus on the tist's. There are variations to this of course, such as "look here" or classically "look at me", but they all end with the same result: the moment your eyes meet theirs, thoughts evaporate, leaving only vacant eyes staring into eyes of intent, eyes that know what they're doing, what they're going to do to you.
How exciting.
I absolutely adore this trope, and one of my favorite things about it is how, when connected to your tist in that way, they can move your head just by moving theirs. Make you nod, make you shake your head, agreeing with whatever they say. And of course you do, their gaze has frozen all other thoughts in place after all.
Another favorite element is how this plays into resistance. Perhaps you can try to resist them, but you must look into their eyes as you resist. Perhaps you have to resist looking at them, but the moment you do you lose. Either way, when you finally give in, when that need finally penetrates your psyche, their eyes are all you see. And suddenly, all cares, worries, everything just dissolves in the color of those irises, the softness or intensity of their expression.
What could you possibly have been trying to do when all that matters is to stare?
There is so much to be done with this, and as always, I look forward to any elaboration you may have on this topic. Have fun 🌀
