Eye Profiles: Husk / Empty Eyes
The Blank eye, a dim circle, is one of the unlucky signs, a omen of soullessness and apathy. Children born of this blank are usually considered stillborn, no matter how much they move or cry. If left to grow up, they are considered zombies.
Clark (inner circle, two crossed lines) and Bailey (two crossed lines) are sort of considered 'weaklings'. Their eyes have no spark or color, and the edginess of the lines are sort of like.. 'yeah, whatever. you're that, that's all you'll be.'
One of the harder-to-name eyes, an assortment of black dots following a hollow circle. The hollow represents the eye's wearer, and the blacks are friends, family, coworkers, fellow warriors, etc. A very defensive sign, this J'kon would keep the group together, protecting them all with their life. No matter how monotone-spirited the J'kon would be, the group would never be the same without them. A living tank and support, with little regard for themselves.
A vertical line is a razor's edge, a soulless warrior that only sees their weapon.
A horizontal line is like a chess piece, judging the world in black and white. What's good is good, what's bad is bad, and anything in between should be judged harshly for whatever they have to hide.
Both of them are basically 'tool' types, used by other J'kon for their judgement rather than any personality they may have.
A diamond outline would be like a sharpened rock, with a sharp mind behind it. Tacticians in battle, diamonds would think of formations, then put on the front lines to test their theories. If 'un-used', a diamond would also be a worthy thief, able to target their goals from far away. Usually focused.
Lines that near but do not cross are 'scrambled' sort of. Lines that would have crossed at the top have a positive outlook on life, watching the world from high places. Lines that would have crossed on the bottom scurry about the forest floors and tunnels, some becoming highwaymen type robbers. Both are more content with simply watching passerby; so close, but never meeting.
Of course, these colorless crosses and angles are a rare sort, 'doomed to their destinies' without a rightful passion. Clark's eyes are really fascinating though, colorless but correct, depicting a white crosshair on his silvery lenses. He is doomed to the world of interests and logic, experiencing the world from afar, but enjoying it just the same. Dead to the world yet full of life, a rather curious pair of eyes.
Eye Profiles: Assorted + info
As human pupils contract and cat eyes turn to slits, J'kon's eyes work just the same. A spiral eye would tighten and loosen on the expression the J'kon has. Calm, it would be very loose, and tighten into a small, tight coil when surprised. A excited, fascinated or particularly pondering J'kon's spiral eyes might even spin, as spirals do.
The shape and color of an eye go hand in hand, and are as complicated (or deceptively simple) as a J'kon may be. From a black square to a colorful kaleidoscope mess, each J'kon eye is different. Most are no more than 3 colors maximum, and they must all 'work', as defined in the spiral description, changing expressively. There are no known cases of heterochromia.
Under this break is a to-be-added-to list of known eye types. Not all may contain names.
