Grossest stage of any relationship: Accomplishment unlocked
I think it's when you are totally content to not do anything except for
STARE INTO EACH OTHERS EYES / MAKE OUT
intermittently
friends, friends, friends.
Something is wrong with me, unless this is a totally normal stage for a relationship and eventually this shifts into...something less embarrassing but just as rewarding.
MORE TERRIBLE DESCRIPTION OF THESE EVENTS
Like, we'll be on the couch (sometimes in a restaurant) and just look at each other's faces. This can go on for quite awhile. And we'll kind of joke around sometimes about, say, what kind of things we did in former lives (semi pro wrestler, Spice girl alternate 'Empathetic Spice'), while this is happening we are still starring into each other's eyes. Obviously there's some petting going on, but it's mainly him stroking my hair, and me massaging his hands.
Maybe we're just so shocked that we're still together and that it's still awesome? Who. Knows.
