in terms of personality she’s kinda like the kid from Aliens? Sweet but also takes no shit from adults

she’s p in tune with spirit shit, sixth sense style. So she used to be kinda scared of the whole dealio but after enough nights of her parents putting it all down to ‘’bad dreams’’ she just rolled with it and had ghostly tea parties

probably the only person LT has seen Neloth be nice to. In his own jerk way

she really likes birds. like a lot. she fucking loves birds. 

her and her mom have a really close relationship but only after a while. LT was super uncomfortable with the idea of being a mom, mostly bc she thought she’d never be a good one but she’d move heaven and hell for her kid

she’ll explore pretty much anything and god knows how it hasn’t gotten her in trouble yet. she’ll see an opportunity she’ll take it

this isnae even an unpopular opinion i just want yr thoughts on this fucking model & texture stealing debacle

My thoughts right now are as follows:

I’ve been googling/looking for other sources of information because I initially reblogged the post and then felt uneasy about not having verified anything, especially when the commentary at the end was completely without sources.

That doesn’t mean I’m saying it’s not true, it means I’m trying to get more information.

I should qualify the above by saying I don’t know shit about animation, 3D modeling or anything related to this. For example, to me the boot image looks more like a copied design than a stolen model (which would still be shitty but a different flavor)--but again, what the fuck do I know because I don’t know how modeling works.

If the accusation has merit, it’s worth pointing out that it’s about Monty, specifically. Those were all very early designs, going back to the trailers, and Monty’s habit of lone-wolfing it all over the studio is pretty well documented at this point. That doesn’t absolve RT of responsibility--at whatever point they knew, they bore a responsibility to address the issue. It does present a picture of Monty that is pretty unfortunate and which I’m sure a lot of people are not super willing to hear.

I hope it goes without saying that I have very little personal investment in defending RWBY from criticism and I’ve been a pretty vocal critic of the show from a narrative angle where I actually feel qualified to speak, so.

And that’s all I can really say for the moment.
