I think Fennekin works better with its story, but if you gave that story to Growlithe, you could add in Pacifica’s parents looking down on it because it’s more of a ‘common’ Pokemon and not holding up to their standards?
dang. that is a very solid point. spoiler alert, though: pacifica captures fennekin/growlithe when she’s not around her parents, so they don’t really get the chance to look down on it. however, it’s still something they’d do and something that would cross pacifica’s mind
I don't know if you've heard this before, but something that could be another point to the Suzy being a spectral theory is that eraser spirit that got tooled up in chapter 3, it's pink, like Suzy's color scheme, and it's in a pencil, which fits with her being a journalist.
oooh yeah yeah! thats a good point too :000

You can’t do so much that you’re up until 3. That’s why you should quit school and just focus on finishing Scooby-Doo.
oh my gosh you are right
i should just keep watching scooby doo
If you don't mind me adding to that: There's a good deal of debate as to whether Leviticus was even referring to homosexuality. What's translated as 'lie with as' is translated to refer to the physical bedding of someone in every other use throughout the Bible, which implies it's referring to treating other and sexual acts with reverence rather than the gender of the people involved.
I’ve heard other interpretations of that verse as well though not that specific one. And honestly, I do lean towards those interpretations, especially because they make more sense in a larger context of an affirming God (but because it’s not completely clear, I rely on the other argument when it becomes relevant simply because it has more ground).
As much as I think the center of debate should move beyond this verse, I definitely think it’s worth looking into.
