Kayne's violence is a complete non-issue for the other gods. They all kill ants sometimes. Who cares. Occasionally in really violent ways. But Kayne makes it weird. He's really fixated on a particular ant. He's taking it places. He's having conversations. He's found several near identical ants (for some reason the other ants weren't identical enough, but these ones were??) and decided to kill them all painfully (because they're not his favorite ant??).
Part 60 is just Kayne going would a depressed person make this?? while showing something that only a suicidally depressed person would make
Season 5 au: Instead of 13th century England its a generic not at all historically accurate western.
Features:
•Arthur has the time of his life in a western.
•Arthur puts on the worst American accent known to man to fit in.
•He gets tied to some train tracks. Almost immediately.
•He solves a bank robbery. (It's the guy in stripes with the money bags).
•Arthur gets a very big crisis on whether any of this is real or if Kayne is just toying with them.
•He falls off a horse several times.
•This can't be real. None of the internal logic makes sense. The real West didn't look like this. He's read history book before. Dynamite doesn't work like that. Sheriff's weren't like that. The sun shouldn't be at dawn, dusk, or high noon, there's other times.
•Gets a cowboy hat. It's very cool. And he adores it. John really likes the spurs. They jingle.
•The townsfolk keep switching between treating Arthur as a damsel in distress, the grizzled hero, and the villain of the week. Lot of whiplash going on.
•Arhur gets knocked over by a tumbleweed
Idea: the Manager occasionally chucks things into the Nightmare Realm to keep Kayne entertained. Like boxes of crayons and a random corpse.
So yes Kayne is skipping a word there just because he can't possibly ever say that one, but also he's saying that what he considers love is knowing a person. And that just makes him rewatching Arthur so many times so much worse.
He's lucky Arthur didn't understand because that's a very large confession to just drop and quickly get to the next sentence before Arthur thinks about it.
And he's being polite about it. He's trying to get any moment of connection. Any moment of willing connection and he knows Arthur won't go for it because of course he won't but he still has to try. And then when that doesn't work he has to force it to happen anyway.
Kayne just keeps digging himself into this pit and he can't stop.

Kayne hasn't realized he could just hear organ sounds if he laid his head atop someone. Sad.
Has anyone tried giving Kayne a nap? All the other gods spend all their time sleeping. So clearly he's run up some kind of sleep deficit. The finale could've been throwing a blanket on him and calling it a day
