EYEWITNESS CONVENTION

Hi guys ! Hi people who are big fan of the tv show “Eyewitness” ! Hi everyone !

As you know (or not) im french, and in France we really liked this show and really want to organize a convention or even a little meet-up with few actors from the show so two grils created a facebook group and a twitter (obvsly in French) to regroup people who’d like to have an eyewitness convention in France.

So, if you’re french or you’d be able to come to France to be part of this convention or meetup to meet actors from the show and all click on the links below.

Obviously it is all in french and the convention that the two admin are trying to organize is in France. So if you can’t come to France please do not join the facebook group. The facebook group is there to be professional and to show promoter the number of people we’de be if we had to organize/create a convention.

so eyewitness is over... but here’s my take

so the show ended last night and it was virtually perfect--but where was the philkas i love you? we all wanted that, didn’t we? and it’s hard to cope with the fact that it’s over. it’s been so important to all of us.

why didn’t philkas have an i love you scene? that exchange was what the show was building up to do. and it was conscious decision by the writers to exclude it; it was meant to have happened. which leads me to think... maybe it did happen.

but not as a scene. it happened as a moment in philip and lukas’s lives, their real lives. and that's why it didn't happen on camera. for a show so real and so authentic where nothing is altered to make it seem more camera-worthy, it only makes sense that the culmination of the main relationship isn't altered to fit modern media standards. so, no, it didn't happen on camera, but that shouldn't mean it didn't happen at all.

yeah, maybe we won’t get any new material, but the effect that this show has had on us is astronomical and that’s not something that just conforms to reason. we can consider reality as a place where philkas is real, because they will live on. that love can’t just go away with the end of a season. it’s here, in us.

no despair :) it’s not truly over. it’ll feel like it is--there’s an eyewitness-shaped hole in our hearts. but that doesn’t mean that philip and lukas were fake or that the show was just made-up, or a fantasy. we have made all of this real, and that’s not just going away. we’ll remain hopeful for a season 2 but until then, take heart in knowing that eyewitness and philkas are not over, and never, ever will be.
