Haven't drawn Sylvari in a long time. I felt like drawing my plant babies so I got out my sketchbook. Not a great likeness on Eymeria but it's practise after all :)

*Sorry it took me a while to answer, tried to keep is short but it still got rather long :D

8. Do they fit well into sylvari society or are they more at home with other races? How do they feel about fellow sylvari? Do they have any particular sympathy or antipathy for other races?

Lucinara still feels very close ties to the Sylvari but also feel very at home with the Charr because of their practical approach to war. Being a Vigil Commander, Lucinara tends to get along with the other races quite well. However there's been a duality in feelings when it comes to Asura, never quite understanding them but also having admiration for their aid with technological advancement and intellect. They're used to solving things with brawn which is why they get along with Norn rather well as well. When it comes to humans they don't have a particular love for them as they often have been seen in huge betrayals, however they're useful so there's no strong feelings towards them, just discretion.

Eymeria has seen the comings and goings of every race at the Durmand Priory she discriminates no one in her line of work when out and about on the field. After all, every race is in need of healing. She strongly believes that everything has a right to grow, which includes her sympathy. Her best friend is a human and she is dearly intrigued by them. She has difficulties understanding the Charr culture but tries her best to understand their warmongering, luckily she has met Charr that do not wish to approach their life this way and she understands that there's more to them than the stereotypes depict. The Asura fascinate her but she doesn't have strong ties with them. She is highly interested by Norn, she thinks their spiritual connection to the wilds is lovely and in line with what she herself believes and it also reminds her of home. She's still strongly connected to the Sylvari through the dream and her Wyld Hunt. She's spent the last years trying to heal the Pale Tree and has spent a lot of time among her people.

Fiene isn't particularly sympathetic or asympathetic towards any of the major races, although they feel strong ties with their brothers and sisters, they rarely feel like they truly belong. Their favour is earned through artistic endeavors rather than racial characteristics, which makes every individual unique. They have developed a love for smaller races because they approach the arts differently, their favourite so far being Grawl. They haven't ventured far out of yet and have yet to visit Elona and Cantha (in which they will discover a love for Choya as well).

16. Where were they when the call of Mordremoth struck? Did they hear and follow it, or did they resist it?

Lucinara crashed with the Pact in the Jungle, the call was strong to them but they stood fast in their beliefs (some must fight so all may be free), resisting it has well as they were able to. The injuries from the crash however made them weaker to the second call. If it had not been for Laranthir, a close friend of Almorra and Lucinara, snapping them out of it they would have succumbed to it. The two of them stayed closely to each other's side during the campaign against Mordremoth, keeping an eye on each other and helping fellow Sylvari of the Pact to resist the urge to answer the call, resulting in the Vigil's Steadfast Sylvari.

Eymeria barely heard the call. She was feeling the call of her Wyld Hunt getting stronger after Scarlet tapping into the ley line below Lion's Arch, sensing the urgency of the Pale Tree being in danger. She rushed to the Grove, however was met by the Battle of Lion's Arch. When Mordremoth awakened the call of her Wyld Hunt got so strong that it made the whispers of Mordremoth's call less convincing to her. Due to the gates in LA being down Eymeria had to travel to the Grove by foot. The Pale Tree was attacked while she was still in Caledon Forest, she felt the pain of her mother and yet knew there was still time to save her. She heard the second call when she was by the Pale Tree's side, actively healing her. It is suspected that she was able to resist the call due to her close proximity to the Mother Tree, while attempting to aid into restoring her and the Dream to full strength which might have contributed to some extra shielding against the call.

Fiene had only been emerged from the pod for a week when the call of Modremoth struck, it had been very hard for them to resist and almost failed. They took refuge in the Grove where menders did their best to aid Sylvari in need of protection from the call. Fiene had started to exhibit some small growth from the corruption coming from their bark, indication they were losing the fight when something made them come through and resist the call, rendering them unconcious in the process. It took them weeks after Mordremoth's fall to recover from what had happened and they rarely speak of it, rather avoiding the subject all together.

Eymeria

Durmand Priory Magister/Advisor to the Commander's guild/Healer She/her. Homosexual. Single. Sprouted in 1320 AE, the year Kralkatorrik awakened. 167cm/5'5 feet tall.

Personality: Caring, Curious, Empath, Loyal, Guarded, Judgemental. Backstory: Trahearne dreamed of healing Orr, Eymeria dreamt of healing the Pale Tree. When Eymeria awakened from the dream she felt determined to learn everything there is about healing. She wandered the world to find and learn from the best healers around and eventually ended up at the Durmand Priory. With all the knowledge of the world at her feet, Eymeria decided to stay as a member of the Priory and healer to the Pact to ensure that she would be ready to fullfill her Wyld Hunt. When the Pale Mother got injured after the rise and fall of Mordremoth, Eymeria rushed to the Grove to be by her side and aid in her recovery. Years have passed and nothing has strengthened the Tree. Eymeria is feeling like she is failing her Wyld Hunt and decides to join Caithe on the path to the Janthir Wilds to find answers.

Noticable traits: 1) Healer: It seems this elementalist excels at using water magic for other purposes than combat. 2) Nurturing: Eymeria seems like the type of Sylvari you go to if you need some tender love and care. She gives off cinnamon roll vibes but in a mature way. 3) Frosty Flower: This flower resembling Sylvari sure loves the cold, snow and Wintersday.

How your character might have heard of her: Affiliated with the Durmand Priory. Used to be an advisor to the Pact Commander (when Trahearne was the Commander). Now solely focuses on healing practices and research, all those battles in Tyria sure cause a lot of injuries.
