MY SUPER FAN GIRL: Malalang Review, Malalang Malala! Chaps!
I am not into watching short films on YouTube but this film really caught my attention. Aside from it was directed by one of my idols, Marcelo Santos III with the help of OTSO Productions, the story and concept of the film is really interesting.
ANO NGA BA ANG FEELING NA ANG GIRLFRIEND MO AY ISANG SUPER FAN GIRL NG ISANG SIKAT NA TAO?
Iyan ang unang tanong na pumasok sa isip ko. I want to know that feeling that the person you love is a big fan of someone popular. Am I going to be insecure? Am I going to be hurt?
The concept is indeed a great.
The Actors. Superb choices.
Sobrang tama ang desisyon to choose Jewel Greenland and Rafael Romillo. Mas mararamdaman mo yung TUNAY NA KILIG DAHIL SA TUNAY NA NAGMAMAHALAN. Real couples = Real feelings = Real Kilig.
Margaret Don, if she's a real actress, I am sure she'll get an acting awarding. She's so funny. I so love her character. So real. So natural. I want to have a friend like her.
Kimpoy Feliciano and Jude Sinahon. These two are really popular now so definitely they deserve to be the two famous characters in this short film. Though, parang napadaan lang si Kimpoy. Haha. JK.
The Scenes or Episodes. I really cant think of the scenes that I really like because I LOVE ALL THE SCENES. Specially the scene wherein Jewel and Rafael are arguing in the rain. Sobrang dramatic ng scene na yun for me. Sobrang mararamdaman mo yung sakit na nararamdaman sa puso ni Rafael.
I also like the fan video scene of Rafael. It is so sincere. That's the BEST SCENE for me.
Music. Perfect musical scoring. Swak na swak at malalang malala ang background music. Timing na timing sa bawat scene. Galing!
Production wise, I salute OTSO Productions. Galing. Pwedeng irecommend sa ibang gustong gumawa ng short films. Parang gusto ko tuloy gumawa ng short film. may concept na din ako. hahaha.
And of course, sa Director (also the best extra in the film. joke) na si Marcelo Santos III. I am a fan and forever a fan. SUPER FAN BOY MODE ON! HAHAHA. Seriously, the kids, teenagers, adults, etc should admire you for your hardwork to make this short film possible kahit na ang daming abirya bago maupload ang video na ito.
