Whew. I don’t know why I’m writing this late but, Hello! I’m back with another concert blog.
January 23, 2016. Going to a concert for a few times made this concert unexciting. Don’t get me wrong, I was just not as excited as the first time. It's like I don’t have the unknown feeling before. I was excited of the thought that I’d be seeing the boys in just few hours! The good thing was, I was more composed. I knew how to handle things (but lol, it didn’t went on as planned).
So I left home at around 1:30 PM, I know fansites and some fans will give away some exo stuff I could keep as a memorabilia so I went early as I can. I was alone though haha, I don’t know why I always do things alone. I didn’t get much because fansites preferred Day 2 and the area was so crowded, I just waited for the gates to open. So people were getting in and I didn’t know that VIP and Lower Box ticket holders were the first one to go, I think I was stuck finding my line hahaha. I brought my dSLR, 2 lenses and 2 battery packs, my mistake was I didn’t hide it lol I thought they wouldn’t be that thorough in checking bags because they weren’t that strict from the last concert, so yeah my dSLR was taken with my lenses :( hehe. It affected me so much because I was expecting to have great photos of them. We were in line again inside the arena, I think it was because EXO started their rehearsals late so we waited for almost an hour inside.
The doors opened and everyone was screaming and jumping because of excitement, they were so cute. I was ultimately shocked when I saw how near I was. I wasn’t able to buy VIP Seating because there were no VIP tickets available, I didn’t choose standing because my mom was afraid I’d just be squished to death in there lol. So, I was seated 9 rows away from the stage, I expected I wouldn’t see them so near but it turned out that the stage was so huge and EXO was near af.
The VCR was Filipino subbed, I was laughing by myself because it was so awkward watching their opening vcr. Overdose was their first song. I was worried about Xiumin & Kai because they were both seating on their performance at GDA which was two days before the concert. I did not expect that they would still sit on the concert. It's so sad because I chose section 220 because of them, well Kai’s Baby Don’t Cry dance was supposed to be on that section and as far as I could remember Xiumin mostly go to the right side of the stage. I thought they would roam in at least one song but they did not. Both of them were kind of far from me… Maybe this isn’t the time for us Minseok and Jongin :( Going back, I have a habit of counting EXO whenever they are together (my heart TT_TT) so when they went out for the first time, I immediately counted them. They were 6 at first so I thought it was a division of EXO-K and EXO-M, but they were performing almost half of the song and 3 members were still missing. I heard Kai’s voice but I didn’t see him until their seats were lifted and bam! Xiumin and Kai appeared sitting. Lay wasn’t there too. It was unfortunate of us that these happened but the show must go on.
I can not explain in words how amazing that night was. I felt as if I am just watching their DVD Concert in our house. The surreal feeling was there. Suho and Sehun danced Playboy on our side, D.O. danced with the laser on our side too (I forgot what the song was) and BAEKHYUN sang Sing For You on our side!!!! I didn’t know what to do when Baekhyun was singing, he wasn’t in full make up (or he was and I’m just bad at make up?) that time and I could really see his face and damn, he’s one fine man. I could not believe myself that he was that good looking in person. Chanyeol and Chen were mostly on our side singing and dancing, and hell yeah I did not expect that Chanyeol was that handsome! Chen’s face is carved by Gods, I fell for him again! His voice is exceptional. Sehun was a little chubby in person, he isn’t that thin like those in photos hehe. Kyungsoo, HE’S A DAMN MAN! I’ve always seen Kyungsoo as a lost kid but damn he’s just not. He is so refined hahaha! But yeah, Kyungsoo and Baekhyun were small hahaha, I could tell by comparing them when Chanyeol was on our side and when the both of them were there. Their voices were magical, I almost didn’t hear it live because everyone is singing and screaming. Baekhyun and Chen looked into my phone/me (assuming lol).
Xiumin and Kai were continuously saying sorry they couldn’t show their dance to us and promised they’ll be back to show a better performance. Suho saw the banner that says “We Promise Forever” and replied that they promise us forever too. D.O is still inlove with mangoes lol #DOmango. They said they missed the Philippines. Their encore song was Unfair, and it really struck me that it was going to be over soon. When they were exiting the stage, they were like “Bye!” “See you tommorow!” and it was so cute. Suho forgot their closing thing, the “we say EXO and you say SARANGHAJA” and “we say WE ARE and you say ONE” so they called everyone again hahaha Baekhyun was like “Xiumin come here! Kai come here!”
It was an exhausting concert, from dancing to rapping to clubbing to singing to a vcr drama and to a painful goodbye (I didn’t went to Day2 because it was a sunday haha). It was so fun to be in there, to party and sing with EXO. Every EXO-L should try to attend their concert because whatever your seat is, it’s worth it.
