Is anyone going to acknowledge that even the Akaridions don’t exactly know what Luug is? He’s the personification of “it’s a dog… we think.” They adopted this thing that corrupts wormholes and befriends giant monsters?

I’m pretty sure Luug is an eldritch Akaridion god that wandered over to 5-year-old Aja for scratches, and her parents were too scared of him tell her to get rid of him

he knew something, and was content to just let her suffer and keep searching. it was frustrating, and rin wanted nothing more than to get to the bottom of it. which was why she was back at the dog’s house, waiting for the younger trio to leave before she approached the back porch. waltzing in like she owned the place, she headed to the office. after all, if he had something that had the answers she sought, it’d be there right?

she was shuffling through books when the horse sensed a pair of eyes on her back. “you wanted me to find the answer myself, gure-nii. i’m just doing what you said.” her voice daring him to say another word, to question her stubborn will. maybe he was okay with living cursed, but she was not.
