Shiki’s Powers - EZ theory

I think think it’s a possibility that Shiki has the ability to time travel. I’m no physicist but Shiki might be able to manipulate the space-time continuum in some way.  It could be Rebecca's power but I haven’t seen any evidence of it yet.

If you notice Shiki was the one who took the wheel and they ended up on a planet that wasn’t destroyed - before it’s destruction.  

It helps in making sense of how they would be able to travel to a planet that is dead and meet the doctor at a younger age.  

I know that time is relative and flexible according to Einstein's theory. So the instance of their death is not set in stone because it could be one outcome of the many potential scenarios that play out.

This made me contemplate how the dragon passed through mother as though she wasn’t there. Like she wasn’t visible to those in that space and time period. If mother has some control over the continuum it could be a factor that ties Shiki and mother together. 

If anyone reading is more knowledgeable about this, please let me know your thoughts on this. I know it’s fantasy and may not abide completely by the physics in our universe, but I find it an interesting concept nonetheless.
