serena and blair have a history of hurting each other – if their relationship isn’t a cycle of fuck ups and forgiveness i don’t know whose is. though, it’s not exactly a secret that serena has more than once been the start of those cycles.

blair, by far. she holds herself together in a way that serena has never been able to emulate.

serena, though i don’t think blair would be far behind.

serena – not that she’s put herself in a lot of situations that would cause them, but her past history of drugs and alcohol has more than once lent herself to being messy in situations that could cause a broken bone. drunk in heels, anyone?

both of them. b & s have been friends for so long, that they know all of the other’s dirty secrets. it’s very easy for the other to lash out, to cut deep. gossip girl would slit their own throat for the knowledge that b & s have on each other.

serena, she’s more than once had to ask for forgiveness from the queen b.
who treats who’s wounds more often?
neither of them really have physical wounds, but both of them know just what sort of things help soothe the wounds left behind by boys and the gossip spread around by those who wish to either be with them or be them.
who is in constant need of comfort?
like i mentioned before that blair is the one that is emotionally stronger than serena, i think this applies here, too. blair is more likely to be serena’s rock than the other way around, something that serena is very aware of and sometimes questions. especially when b reminds her during a fight.
this would depend on the scenario. we’ve seen in canon that they can both be jealous of each other’s status, on how the world ( the upper east side ) sees them. but i think when it comes to others, to them, that blair is the one to more likely be jealous.
who’s most likely to walk out on the other?
i’m not sure who will do it, but i know that if blair were to it’d be planned out to every dotted i and crossed t, whereas serena would say it in the spur of the moment as the two share a glass of champagne on their hotel balcony looking out at the paris city streets.

definitely serena – hence the fact she’s more than once left in search of her father.

i honestly laughed trying to picture either of them as shy. if anything they both keep a lot of things secret, either to themselves or to each other, simply because there are things about them that could hang them dry in the eyes of their upper east side counterparts.

i don’t think either of them need anyone but themselves to boast about themselves, but serena really is proud of blair and the things she’s accomplished, especially when it comes to running the magazine.
