Ezra was born into a well off, some would even go as far to say extremely wealthy family. Because why wouldn’t he when he has 8 other siblings, no persons in their right mind has that many children without the financial balance to back it up. At least, not his family anyway. Being one of the more invisible members of the family Ezra easily grew up to get away with a lot things that most, if having caught him, would have commented on and perhaps gotten him some help for had they witnessed.
Though Ezra proved to be smart, very smart, even from a young age. He learned to be more like a chameleon among his other siblings. Which definitely helped him in his budding curiosities and murderous habits. Though he had not taken a life until one day while he was out with his mother and a friend of hers. There had been an attack on several people. Ezra and his mother hand managed to escape with minor injuries, though his mothers friend had been violently stabbed.
This stabbing had taken place very close to Ezra, who, along with his mother, had witnessed the entire thing and the panic that followed as both them and others scattered to safety. This perhaps is the one singular moment in Ezra’s life that turned him toward his future career.. The one catalyst to bring the entire house of cards his parents tried to help him build, tumbling down. With his he had changed, of course. But had not changed so significantly that others took notice.
Allowing for him to go on with the rest of his school days appearing completely normal on the outside. However, it was in one of these days he did take the life of another. A random person who he had seen one day while out on a family vacation, one of the last they would have had all together. His first victim had been a male. Whose body would perhaps never be found. Though Ezra did not like that so much. So he curbed his slayings to be more ‘display’ than something to go easily unnoticed. He wanted to rub it in authorities faces, that they could not catch him.
Present
Then, so, as he became an adult, still apparently normal to everyone around him, while continuing his slayings in secret, Ezra was able to graduate from High School. Then he moved onto university. Afterword he has gone to take on the work of being a game programmer. Which he finds makes him appear very average, indeed. Ezra has continued with his facade of a life. Yet to be found out for any crime, murder or otherwise, that he has committed. Though some of his killings are notably done by one person.
And others of his killings are mistakenly treated as random occurrences. He likes to change it up.

Gets away with it. All of it. He doesn’t get caught. He dies a happy old man and there’s nothing you can fucking do about it.
