Code Geass? God, I desperately need to watch R2 but I feel we've never talked about anything in it besides Kalulu. So go go go??
We didn’t?! I have to fix it right now! Code Geass is one of forever fav, be prepared for me to talk endless about it, haha. XD
Favorite character: Lelouch Lamperouge. I know I talk a lot about Kallen, but Lulu is my favorite.
Least Favorite character: Rollo. I was glad when he died (though I do appreciate him as a character on his own). Suzaku, I disliked him from the beginning, but in R2 I hated him. He was capable of selling his friend for a position on the Knights. Son of a… Er, anyway, his reasoning made no sense whatsoever. I agree with trying to achieve peace between the sides in a peaceful manner, however that’s not what he did. Suzaku tried to save Japan by killing his dad (who would resist and stay on war, but hey, it was to not be a colony and his people not to be subservient to another’s!) and by fighting against the people he wanted to “save”. By killing the people of the country he wanted to save. By serving Britannia who made Japanese people subservient, called them “eleven” and took control of their country. What kind of logic is that? He’s too stupid and self-righteous. But I liked his end and he was a badass in the last episodes and almost redeemed himself to me.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Lelouch x Kallen, Suzaku x Nunnally (match made in hell), Ohgi x Villetta, Charles x Marianne (another match made in hell), Jeremiah x Anya (their orange-robot-maid babies will be beautiful <3).
Character I find most attractive: Lelouch, smart men are sexy.
Character I would marry: Lulu, please, he’s still in the line of succession of the imperial family.
Character I would be best friends with: Milly or Kallen.
a random thought: I understand Lelouch lived at school and formed bonds with his colleagues from the student council (it was impossible not to), yet I find it extremely hard to believe they would all be so close and important to him when all the time they passed together Lulu was acting. They don’t know him truly nor do they know Kallen. Why they are present as that close to him and why his dreamed life for him and Kallen was back at school is rather idk. Forced to me? I guess.
An unpopular opinion: Euphie is not the purity in human form fandom (and Suzaku) made her to be. She had romantic feelings for her half-brother (of whom she was the “first love”). Nunnally requested her to not ‘stole’ Lulu from her, but even though Euphie felt guilty for her, she still tried to connect with Lulu again. Now, she tried to move on with Suzaku, she was honest with him that she had feelings for someone else when she proposed to him. However, Euphie still tried to be with Lulu and that was her downfall. Did she genuinely wanted to help elevens? Of course! But was a part of her selfishness doing that to be with him? Yes, she thought about being with Lulu the whole time proceeding their encounter and he unconsciously using the geass on her!
She wasn’t a saint, an image of purity in a character form. Euphie was just as selfish and had just as many issues and layers as the others CG characters, imo. I don’t need to say that I don’t agree with the hype on Euphie and Suzaku as a pairing, hm? I fail to see the great love story fandom saw between them.
Non-canon OTP: Jeremiah x Anya… Although they did end up living together, so.
most badass character: Kallen, no doubt there.
pairing I am not a fan of: I don’t like Lelouch/Suzaku, even though they have canonical material (mostly from CLAMP, also there’s the Oficial Doujinshi with the sex scene that Lulu was OOC). I strongly dislike Suzaku and Lulu is my favorite, Suzaku sell him to Britannia, I don’t think I need to give a better reason than that. rs
character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): No one. Except for the official OOC doujin, but it is fanservice material, so.
favourite friendship: Not exactly a friendship, but Zero and Jeremiah.
character I want to adopt or be adopted by: I want to adopt Kallen for reasons.
I absolutely love the end of Code Geass, it’s satisfying, all characters got what they deserved, it was well built-it and amazing and you should go watch R2 to see it and talk with me about how great it was afterwards. Like go watch it right now, please.
