Black butler 1

I'm rewatching the first season of black butler and I feel like many people just forget about most of it since it wasn't in the manga??? I still think it has some important clues or moments that might mean something, like:

•undertaker being a grim reaper

•Undertaker being able to edit one's records (cough, real ciel's, cough)

•Ciel not actually wanting Sebastian to take his soul

•Ciel not wanting to change the past or change the fact that he ever met Sebastian

•Ciel having enough power to reject the change to his records

•Sebastian being impressed by Ciel's determination, calling his soul a truly worthy one

•Undertaker mentioning to Ciel that he checked out both of his parent's records and forgot to return them

•Undertaker offering to tell Ciel about what his parents' records say - Ciel refuses

•Sebastian confessed to being responsible for the "black death" in Europe?? (around 500 years before he met Ciel - don't know if it's relevant but it's sure is interesting knowing more about Sebastian)

•After Sebastian was taken away from him, Ciel began imagining everyone who cared for him as Sebastian

•"My young master is the only one I want, I desire to eat no other soul" - Sebastian

•"I've waited a long time for this, my Lord. Combing your fine dainty locks, gingerly fastening the buttons of your shirt one by one; it was all I could do to keep the surge of emotion in check" - Sebastian may have feelings??

•The angel kept changing forms between man and woman asking him which one he'd like best - he's bisexual?

•Vincent knew he was gonna die

rewatching avengers, i am struck yet again by more details: when they're standing around the scepter on the helicarrier fighting, natasha says "are you boys really that naive? shield monitors threats." and they have a discussion about a "threat list," which even captain america is on. when steve finds the phase II weapons, they're accompanied by a face mask that's more or less identical to ones we see hydra goons wearing in first avenger.

Hearts of the land and sea// Eric & Melody

Turquoise eyes shimmered in the low light streaming through her french doors. She blinked a few times, then let her entire face contort as she yawned lazily. For some reason, there was a sense of expectation in her heart. A reason she was up so early on a day where she wasn’t expected to attend classes. She tried to recall what she had done yesterday, in hopes that it would jog her memory.

There was music and geology class. A light evening swim. She had taken a shower. Then just before bed, her father had knocked on her door and…. yes!

She scrambled out of bed and hurried to throw on a comfortable outfit and throw her hair up into a ponytail. Today is the day, she thought as she brushed her teeth. Mere minutes later, she skidded to a stop in the castle entrance, right in front of her father.

”Dad, i’m ready for our sailing trip,” she quipped, slightly out of breath, and blew a stray hair out of her face.

The way her heart was soaring made her lips pull into a cheeky grin. Today was going to be perfect. A day of sailing with her father. It was the first time they had done something just the two of them for a while now, and Melody was determined to spend the time appreciating his company as thoroughly as possible. She had even left her locket, given to her by her grandfather, in her room so that she couldn’t give in to the temptation of diving into the crystalline blue sea to spend the day under the waves.

Nothing was going to ruin this day. Nothing.
