I always aim for treecko! in red rescue team, I kept getting cyndaquil and I was like "excuse me I am not that timid" and after 8 frustrating tries, I finally got treecko. uwu my niece has explorer of time, and she's a mudkip and her partner is a pikachu and it's literally the cutest thing ever aaa

hehe, i don't aim for a particular pokemon really but i don't want to be a pokemon i don't like such as a bulbasaur or a psyduck so i usually do the quiz thing several times

YEAH IKR!? all the little talk sprites are soooo cute, they're why i didn't want to evolve my partner once i got the ability. i don't care how much it will help my battling, if they never make cute emotional faces again WHAT IS THE POINT TBH

also thanks to you i just turned on my dsi to play sky and i had totally forgotten that i named my exploration team "team gay" like a week ago, good job past self

i think i actually beat the jirachi on the first try! the hard part was getting through the cave. in explorers of time, I'm a treecko and my partner is a chimchar. in sky, I'm an eevee and my partner is torchic. and in red rescue team, I am treecko and my partner is totodile. uwu

AH THOSE ARE CUTE TEAMS :,) in red rescue team the quiz thingy kept telling me i was a psyduck OVER AND OVER AGAIN and i was all "WHAT ARE YOU IMPLYING ABOUT ME, EXCUSE YOU" but then finally i got skitty, so i'm a skitty with a charmander partner. then the first time i played sky, i was a vulpix with a chikorita partner. now i'm playing sky for the second time and i'm a riolu with a pikachu partner! holy shit pikachu is adorable

omg why isn't there the kind of good fanfiction for pokemon mystery dungeon that i get in other fandoms because i really want fic about

celebi/grovyle/dusknoir ot3 learning to live in a world where time works properly, which explores how celebi feels about being a (immortal) legendary pokemon when compared to her companions who are just ordinary pokemon, also explore what it means for dusknoir to be a ghost-type and how that affects the way he interacts with the world and others like physically speaking

darkrai and how he copes with becoming a part of the rescue team / a good guy if he knows that he was once entirely evil but has lost that memory!? you could totally make this darkrai/cresselia, i know there are lots of people who ship darkrai/cresselia in the games in which they have no actual personality YOU COULD WORK WITH IT IN PMD

fic in which one of the characters is trans* OKAY I KNOW THEY'RE POKEMON BUT I THINK YOU CAN GO SOMEWHERE WITH THIS like what if when the hero was human he was a cis dude and then after getting turned into a pokemon, had what pokemon would consider female sexual characteristics (i don't even know i don't want to talk about pokemon genitals HE WAS A PIKACHU WITH A  NOTCHED TAIL OKAY) and then when grovyle's like "you used to be a boy before you were transformed" he figures out this is why he feels so weird about being called female all the time! idk how do you be trans in a pokemon society??? someone should figure it out. someone who's not me.

oh gosh, I forgot about the special episodes! after the grovyle one I was like "I sincerely hope my rescue team heard the message omfg" the really annoying/hard to beat special episode was the sunflora one and I actually cried at the wigglytuff one because aaa that's so touching

yesss i think they did hear the message though bc of the thing where it showed them and the hero said something about having a feeling about the wind meaning something good afterwards (did that happen or am i remembering a fanfic? i am honestly not sure here....)

i actually thought the sunflora one was pretty easy and that the hardest one was bidoof's wish BECAUSE YOU WERE A LEVEL 10 BIDOOF AGAINST A JIRACHI that was so hard omg

I also have red rescue team and it's gr8 too but it's so easy because I finished the main part of it in about two days. my favorite parts in the pmd games are the endings even though they give me lots of feelings aaa

yeah, rescue team was a lot easier although i think explorers of sky was pretty easy too! idk, i could actually beat it, and i'm terrible at video games such that i have only ever beat one game that's not pokemon out of all the games i've ever played. so. yeah. if i could beat it it was pretty easy

and yes the endings are so sad!! i cried at the emotional scenes when you disappear and stuff at the end of sky ;_; and also at the ending of the grovyle special episode ;__;
