“What is mycharacter’s greatest dream/inspiration?”
Bristol
The Hellsguardfrowns, taking a moment to adjust the small, round glasses in front of hisfurrowed brow. "Starting big, aren’t we?“ After a beat, his facesplits in a wide grin. “Well, I guessthat’d have to be old magic! For bothreally. It’s a big part of my work, andI’d give anything to take a crack at it myself. In some ways, I guess I’ve realized that dream with some of the Nymianhealing magic we’ve found over the past few years…but I’m talking about the bigstuff. The things they say brought aboutUmbral Eras, chronomancy, that sort of thing.”
He rakes throughhis hair with a large, gloved hand and shrugs. “I know a lot of people say things like that are buried for a reason, but I’ve made my living from unearthing it. I think it’s more important to keep that in mind while learning from it,rather than leaving our past knowledge to dust. After all, if we turn a blind eye and try to bury past mistakes, we’rejust going to repeat them in the future.”

“Huh…I haven’tthought about that kind of thing in a while.” The artist trails off, his face relaxing, and he stares into thedistance before he snaps back to attention. Cheeks flushed with embarrassment, he continues. “Oh! But I do have inspirations, of course. I’ve been studying a lot of…well, I shouldn’t say too much aboutthat. I’m inspired by art, wherever Isee it, especially anything unique or unfamiliar to me.
Day-to-day, my immediate inspiration comesfrom the people I work for. I like tohear their stories – figure out what makes them tick, you know? I think I work best when I’m doing a verypersonal piece. Aside from having thetime necessary to do it properly, I think that’s the most important.”
