“why didn’t we hang out more in high school?” was obviously just supposed to be a funny line about their tense history of ricky stealing ej’s girlfriends but it honestly made me a bit emotional because like …….. they had so much potential to be friends! the setup of enemies who both like the same girl to friends that are begrudgingly entangled within each other’s lives to an actual genuine friendship because they just care about and understand each other (and then to boyfriends but that’s another post entirely) could’ve been done so well but hsmtmts kept throwing it in the trash just to bring in more stupid unnecessary drama ……….. i guess what i’m trying to say is …. we were robbed!
