After ordering one too many pizzas, not even on accident either, Lulu knew who to call... Ethan. After just getting back from the mall just recently she was dressed nicely but she decided to get changed into dark grey yoga pants and an oversized sweater with a white teeshirt underneath accompanied by fluffy pink socks, it was basically what she liked to call 'hobo clothes'. Sitting down on the couch with her legs crossed, she got on her phone scrolling down Instagram while she waited for him to arrive.
"I think I love you, baby." "Are you in or are you out?" "Stop making a fool out of me." :-)
"I think I love you, baby."
Trilly laughed, laying her feet across his lap and finished chewing the mouthful of pizza in her mouth. "Why, because I buy you food?" she smirked, looking up at him. When she saw that he was serious, her smile faded, only slightly. She raised an eyebrow and sat up straighter, licking the remaining food from her lips. She stared at him for a moment. He was nervous because she wasn't talking, and she wasn't talking because she was nervous, and she could feel her heartbeat in her throat and her fingertips, but she inched forward a little and whispered. "...Say that again so I know I didn't imagine it."
"Are you in or are you out?"
The wind was whipping at their faces, and Trilly had already triple-checked where the pulls for the backup parachutes were. This whole day had been a blur, and they'd gone from joking about skydiving to standing at the open door of an airplane in far too short of a time. She shook her head, but laughed. "I think it's a bit too late to back out, now, isn't it?" she shouted. "You sure you're not going to cry?" She laughed, taking his hands in hers as they jumped out together into the endless air below.
"Stop making a fool out of me."
"You make a fool out of your damn self, Ethan, it has nothing to do with me." As usual, Trilly was making a joke instead of actually facing the problem in front of her. With her arms still crossed, she turned around to face Ethan. "Look... I know you believe me every time I say I won't leave again, and I know you're mad every time it turns out to be a lie, and there is no reason that you should ever believe me when I say it again, so I'm not going to say it. But if I have to leave again, I swear to god, I promise... I will say goodbye."
"I look so good without you." "I think I love you, baby." "I think this might be it for us." "I want you to move on, so I’m already gone." "Thanks for the memories, even though they weren’t so great." :-)
