The Motor City 5 originally recorded this song live on Devil’s Night at Detroit’s Grande Ballroom. Hudson’s completely refused to carry the album because of the profanity, so the band took out an ad that was just a picture of them with “Fuck Hudson’s” on it, which caused their label (Elektra) to drop them
